Our coaches provide Guided Fishing tuition and events for schools and colleges.
Whether they be for small or large groups, we have catered for numerous schools events over the past ten years.
We organise venues, licences, tackle, bait and prizes for the participants as well as tuition to get them started.
We run Fishing programmes for schools enrichment weeks, our most popular being the three day fishing challenge. This comprises of three days fishing, a day each of Coarse, Fly and Sea.
Our events for Junior schools can include Pond dipping, Fish biology, life cycle of aquatic mini-beasts, nature trails and observation of natural life. We provide activity worksheets, pond dipping equipment and quizzes to test learning and understanding of the mini-beasts found.
We organise all the logistics for you, all you have to do is tell us when you want to go, we then agree a programme with you and do the rest.
We provide the fishing tackle for Fly and Sea fishing and the coarse fishing outfit can be included in the overall cost.
Each venue is carefully selected to comply with HSE and Local Authority requirements, disabled participants are welcome as our venues have excellent access and are wheelchair friendly.
We are fully insured to run School and college events for up to 30 participants.

Sports Leadership
We are now able to offer Level 1 and 2 courses in Sports leadership..
Level 1 Award in Sports Leadership
The Level 1 Award in Sports Leadership provides the ideal starting point for candidates aged 13 years and over who wish to develop their leadership skills, whilst under the direct supervision of their tutor.
The syllabus is designed to develop generic leadership skills that can be applied to a variety of sports and/or recreational situations as well as contributing to the personal development of the candidate.
The Level 1 Award in Sports Leadership is a practical qualification in which candidates must demonstrate their ability to lead others in simple sport/activity.
- Age: 13+ (please note, there is no upper age limit for this qualification)
- Guided learning hours: 33 hours (including one hour demonstration of leadership)
The Level 1 Award in Sports Leadership consists of six units of work including one hour demonstration of leadership:

The qualification will take approximately 33 guided learning hours. However, various factors such as the candidate/tutor ratio, the number of candidates, and the experience levels of the candidates will influence the time allocated to the delivery of any given course.
Demonstration of Leadership In order for your candidates to complete their Level 1 Award in Sports Leadership they must complete one hour demonstration of leadership. This element of the qualification is part of Unit 1, however the one hour demonstration of leadership must happen at the end of the course, after all of the taught aspects have been delivered.
Level 2 Award in Sports Leadership
The Level 2 Award in Sports Leadership will give candidates the chance to develop their organisation, motivation and communication skills, whilst also focusing on positive role models in sport, how to mentor others, and how to use leadership skills in a variety of settings.
Candidates may have already gained their Level 1 Award in Sports Leadership or this may be their first step onto the volunteering pathway. There is no requirement that candidates wishing to embark on the Level 2 Award in Sports Leadership must have previously completed the Level 1 Award in Sports Leadership.

*This unit is taken from the Level 1 Award in Sports Leadership. If candidates have previously successfully completed this unit as part of the Level 1 Award in Sports Leadership, they do not need to repeat it as part of this course and the course will be reduced to 43 guided learning hours.
Demonstration of Leadership The Level 2 Award in Sports Leadership will take approximately 48 guided learning hours to deliver. This includes 10 hours during which candidates will demonstrate their leadership. This demonstration of leadership makes up part of Unit 1 - Plan, lead and evaluate a sport/activity session.
