Join us for a relaxed and enjoyable session of Fly Fishing Instruction, Coaching or Guiding for Trout or Pike on Chew Valley Lake.

We have been fishing Chew Valley Lake for over twenty years. In that time we have fished it in a wide variety of conditions and seasons, from mid March to the end of November! So our knowledge of the lake is extensive. Our guided trips are designed to give you the best chance of learning how to fish Chew Valley Lake in the most effective way under the prevalent conditions and to give you hints and tips on how to fish it in as many different conditions as possible.

We coach you on the tackle used for Lure, Nymph, emergers and dry flies and the reasons for fishing a particular way under any given circumstances.

Our guided trips are as flexible as you want them to be, we will take you out for full or half days, evenings or early mornings in the summer months.

When we are fishing from the boat, we will also give you a boat handling session. (We do not compromise on safety so this is mandatory if you have not fished from a boat before).

If you would like a picnic lunch made to your requirements to complement a great day out, we will provide that too.

There is a restaurant at the lake, providing breakfast, lunch and dinner, we would be delighted to host you and your guests there.

Our prices include boat hire, licences, guide and if required, all the necessary tackle for your trip.
